This is a high quality programme offered by one of the country’s leading Business Schools in conjunction with the University of Leeds’ Faculty of Engineering through the interdisciplinary Keyworth Institute.
Leeds University Business School (LUBS) is one of relatively few in the UK to have EQUIS accreditation from the European Foundation for Management Development (2006) LUBS is highly rated for research, with a prestigious ‘5’ grade (RAE2001)* and it was ranked 3rd in Europe for research by the Financial Times (2006). For learning and teaching, LUBS was rated as ‘excellent’ across the whole range of programmes provided (Subject Review 2001 and Institutional Audit 2005).
LUBS is AMBA-accredited and according to the authoritative Which MBA? Guide, published by the Economist Intelligence Unit, LUBS is ranked 40th in the world.
The University of Leeds is home to one of the UK's top Engineering and Computing faculties. The Faculty of Engineering has an international reputation for teaching and research and is comprised of five schools:
- School of Civil Engineering
- School of Computing
- School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering
- School of Mechanical Engineering
- School of Process Materials and Environmental Engineering
All of the Schools in the Faculty have the highest 5 and 5* rated research (RAE2001)* denoting research of international standing.
The Keyworth Institute at the University of Leeds was established in 1993. It aims to:
- Promote inter-disciplinary work between Engineering, IT and Business
- Strengthen University links with Industry in these areas
- Enhance research and teaching at the University as a result
